Join Reuben Keehan, Curator, Contemporary Asian Art, for an illustrated introduction to ‘Reality and Invention: Contemporary Asian Art’. Featuring many well-known works from the Gallery’s holdings alongside less familiar holdings of major significance, this exhibition is organised around a number of key movements and styles, including Chinese cynical realism, the Indian figurative-narrative tradition, feminism in Japanese and Korean art, and major works from South East Asia and Iran.
