Lunch & Lecture: 'Digitising the Collection'

11.00AM Wed 14 Jul 2021
GOMA | GOMA Restaurant, Cinema A | Sold Out

Delve deeper into QAGOMA exhibitions and displays at our monthly Members lecture then catch up with friends over a two-course lunch in the GOMA Restaurant.

Join Natasha Harth, Senior Photographer, and Morgan Strong, Digital Transformation Manager, for an overview of a current project to digitise and publish the QAGOMA Collection online. This talk will cover two major parts of this undertaking: what’s involved in staging and photographing Collection objects and all the considerations for how to capture the essence of an object; and how the outputs of this program — the data, images and records — will be managed internally and published.
