We thank you for your understanding. Join historian and author Margaret Cook for a talk on her latest book offering a compelling history of floods in the Brisbane River catchment, A River with a City Problem (2019). Extensively researched, the book highlights the force of nature, the vagaries of politics and the power of community. With many river cities facing urban development challenges, Cook makes a convincing argument for what must change to prevent further tragedy. A River with a City Problem is the fourth book on the Members Book Club reading list that connects to and contextualises ideas presented in ‘Water’. $14 Members / $18 Members’ guests (includes entry to 'Water') / Book online or call (07) 3840 7278 Free for Premium Members & ‘Water’ season ticket holders and those already attending the Members Morning Viewing of 'Water' on this day
