On the first weekend of the summer school holidays, teens aged 13-18 years are invited to enjoy a hands-on workshop with Brisbane-based fashion designer and artist Arkie Barton.

Take inspiration from Yayoi Kusama's practice, in a workshop exploring fashion, colour, pattern and repetition. Across three fun activities, you'll create your own customised garment using bold patterns, plus design and construct a head piece.

Arkie Barton is the fashion designer behind Brisbane-based label Arkie, which endeavours to bring contemporary Indigenous culture to all Australians through fashion.

Free, bookings essential.
