What have you always wanted to know about contemporary art, but been too afraid to ask? In this informal, interactive seminar series with Dr Mark Pennings, Senior Lecturer, Visual Arts, Queensland University of Technology, look closely at artworks, ask questions, and discover the big ideas behind contemporary art.

In the first instalment, Mark will examine internationally renowned artist James Turrell’s large-scale installations located within buildings and landscapes around the world. Reflect on the artist’s new architectural light commission at GOMA, and discover why people are drawn to his work.
