CONTEMPORARY PATRONS

The QAGOMA Contemporary Patrons gathers together a passionate group of art collectors and benefactors to contribute directly to the Gallery's holdings of contemporary Asian, Australian, Pacific and international art.

The group offers its members the opportunity to cultivate a deeper knowledge and appreciation of contemporary art alongside like-minded individuals through a tailored calendar of intimate events.

Members enjoy engagements such as:

  • Private QAGOMA exhibition viewings with access to our expert curatorial team
  • Early knowledge of QAGOMA's upcoming plans and developments
  • Exclusive access to premier private and corporate art collections and artists' studios
  • Organised tours to major arts events and destinations.

Each year, members are invited to help shape the Gallery's Collection by voting on a work of contemporary art to be acquired through the QAGOMA Foundation, supported by the proceeds of the program. All works acquired with these funds acknowledge Contemporary Patrons in their credit lines.

Individuals can join through an annual tax-deductible donation of $5000, made to the Foundation in a single payment or in five monthly instalments of $1000. Benefactors residing outside Queensland are also welcome and encouraged to participate.

Contributions will also be credited towards existing Foundation memberships, and all new group members will be eligible for Foundation membership.

Join now by filling in and submitting the donation form below or contacting the Foundation on foundation@qagoma.qld.gov.au or +61 (0)7 3840 7287.
