Join Tarun Nagesh, Curatorial Manager, Asian & Pacific Art, QAGOMA for a sneak peek at the major projects and artworks that will be featured in ‘The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’. Discover what's in store for the eleventh chapter of QAGOMA's flagship exhibition series, which will include 70 projects from across Australia, Asia and the Pacific, encompassing work by over 200 artists, makers and thinkers. Gain insights into the artmaking trends inspiring artists across Asia and the Pacific, the approaches and learnings that have informed this next chapter, and the regions that will be represented in the exhibition for the first time. Lecture only tickets may be available.
This talk is the first in an ongoing series offering insights into artworks and projects included in ‘The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’, on display across QAG & GOMA from 30 November 2024 to 27 April 2025. Selected spaces will open early from late-September 2024 for visitors to enjoy.
