Travelling to the Gallery
The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) are located 150 metres from each other, on the south bank of the Brisbane River. Entrance to both buildings is possible from Stanley Place, and the river front entrance to the Queensland Art Gallery is on Melbourne Street.

By Car
Three car parks are located within the Cultural Centre precinct — at the Queensland Art Gallery, State Library of Queensland and the Queensland Performing Arts Complex. A parking fee applies (currently $15) and this is payable on entry. Access is via Stanley Place. A number of disabled parking bays are located in each car park. Brisbane City Council traffic and parking regulations apply to the areas surrounding the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art. For full details please refer to the Brisbane Central Traffic Area information on the Brisbane City Council website.
A temporary set down area for vehicles including taxis, coaches, school buses and mini buses is located on Stanley Place.
Public Transport
By bus
Brisbane's art lovers can access the Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) by bus. High frequency route 444 (Moggill to City) stops at Stanley Place, seven days a week, with a service at least every 10 minutes in peak and 15 minutes off peak. Outbound services will start at GOMA, Stanley Place, and inbound services will terminate there instead of the Cultural Centre busway stop. Commuters can view the route 444 timetable or use the journey planner function on the TransLink website to check their journey times and connections.
By train
Alight at South Brisbane Station, corner of Melbourne and Grey Streets.
By CityCat and ferry
The CityCat and City Ferry terminals are located at South Bank 1 CityCat terminal.
By City Hopper
Visitors to the precinct can commute to QAGOMA with the Inner City Ferry service. Just look for the red City Hopper. The City Hopper is a free service which runs all day, seven days a week. Timetables remain the same as the existing Inner City Ferry service at every half hour. The service runs from Brisbane's Victoria Bridge at North Quay to Sydney Street in New Farm, stopping at six city and Kangaroo Point terminals in between. The closest terminal to QAGOMA is at North Quay, with just a short walk across the Victoria Bridge.

By foot
The Gallery is a short walk from the Central Business District across Victoria Bridge or Kurilpa Bridge.
Mobility impaired and wheelchair access is available to both buildings
QAG wheelchair access is via the lift on the Upper Level of the Queensland Art Gallery car park, via ramps at the front entrance from Melbourne Street, or via the Street Level entrance on Stanley Place, located between both buildings.
GOMA wheelchair access is via the street level entrance on Stanley Place or via the lift from the Stanley Place car park beneath the State Library of Queensland. To secure a booking for a wheelchair, call the Information Desk on 3840 7303 between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday or 9am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
