Guided tours

A volunteer guide discusses artwork with visitors on a tour.

Let our Volunteer Guides share their knowledge and passion for art while taking you on a tour to explore our special exhibitions and collection works. Tours are free and take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Admission fees apply to some special exhibitions.

There will be no volunteer guided tours at QAGOMA from Wednesday 24 December to Thursday 1 January.

Tours at QAG leave from the Melbourne Street information desk, and tours at GOMA leave from the information desk in the entry foyer unless stated otherwise.

Volunteer guided tours for visitors with special needs 

Special needs tours are available for visitors with vision impairment, visitors with hearing impairment and for visitors who are Deaf. Art and Dementia tours are also available.
