Getting to the Gallery

QAG and GOMA are located in Brisbane, Queensland’s capital city. Brisbane is a modern metropolis and offers visitors a stimulating city experience in a subtropical and relaxed environment.

Within walking distance from the CBD, QAG and GOMA are well serviced by public transport and are situated in Queensland’s Cultural Precinct, the city's entertainment and cultural hub that includes theatres, museums, international cuisine, parklands and a river walk.

Undercover paid parking is available at the Cultural Precinct, South Bank in the following locations:
Queensland Art Gallery/Queensland Museum car park
Stanley Place /State Library of Queensland car park
Queensland Performing Arts Centre car park

Payment on arrival
Visa and Mastercard are accepted at manned entry booths

Please note: all Cultural Precinct car parks are managed by the Corporate Administration Agency.

Cultural Precinct Busway Station in Melbourne Street. Chartered bus temporary set-down in Stanley Place.

By train
South Brisbane Station, corner of Melbourne and Grey Streets.

The CityCat and City Ferry terminals are located at South Bank 1 CityCat terminal.

By foot
The Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art are a short walk from Brisbane's CBD via Victoria Bridge, Kurilpa Bridge or the William Jolly (Grey Street) Bridge.
