Donations of all sizes play a vital role in supporting the Queensland Art Gallery Collection, exhibitions and programs. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and contributions of $1000 or more qualify for Foundation membership

Foundation members enjoy a range of social and cultural events and unique experiences. Members enjoy:
- invitations to exclusive exhibition previews and special events during the year, held at the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art
- up-to-date information on the Gallery’s exhibitions and programs through a range of regular Gallery publications
- access to the Members' Lounge at the Queensland Art Gallery
All Foundation members are formally acknowledged in the Foundation Annual Report and members at the level of Fellow and above are publicly recognised on the Donor Boards in the Gallery Foyers.
Foundation membership recognises contributions made through cash donations, bequests and cultural gifts. The seven categories of membership of the Queensland Art Gallery Foundation are listed below.
