Research Library

The Research Library is located on level 3 of the Gallery of Modern Art. We provide specialist art resources and services to complement the collecting areas of the Gallery, with particular strengths in Australian art ― including Indigenous Australian and Queensland art ― as well as new media, contemporary International art and contemporary art of the Asian and Pacific region.

As a Research Library we do not lend materials, however access is available to the general public and researchers (including post-graduate students) during the Library's opening hours. Access to the research collection is by appointment. Read more
