‘Journey to Fantastic Lands’ mask-making workshop

Children are invited to attend a mask-making workshop with artists Isobel Knowles and Van Sowerwine. The masks will be based on the animal characters in their animated artwork You Were In My Dream (2010) featured in the Children’s Art Centre exhibition, ‘Journey to Fantastic Lands’.

‘Art  on the Wild Side’ viewing

Young Members and their families are invited to explore the latest exhibition at the Children’s Art Centre before it opens to the public. Enjoy a morning viewing of ‘Art on the Wild Side’, which looks at the ways in which contemporary artists use animals to communicate ideas and experiences. Featuring multimedia activities, animation and visual works from the Gallery’s Collection, this exhibition invites children to delve into the wild side of art.
