'Play' is a universally popular pastime, so it was a natural choice as a theme for this children's exhibition. Conceived as a construction site, the exhibition featured a puppet theatre and a series of water tanks fitted with customised interactives, including sound and light elements.

This popular show received awards for its innovative design, but in many ways it was the simplest element that was the most successful. The activity area was filled with hundreds of brick-sized foam blocks, and the kids (and their parents) used them to create an endless variety of edifices, from towers to temporary cubby houses.
