Find Roy and Matilda, two friendly mice who love looking at artworks. The mice live behind a little wooden door in the Queensland Art Gallery’s Australian Art Collection. Each night, Roy and Matilda are said to leave their cosy home to have adventures.
The mice starred in the children’s picture book Roy and Matilda: The Mysterious Music by Susan Venn (1997, out of print). This imaginative story depicts the characters visiting artworks in the Australian Art Collection.
