APT7 Up Late - Celebrate one last night

The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT7) closes on Sunday 14 April. Join friends for a drink or bite to eat and take the opportunity to see the exhibition at GOMA after-hours during its final days at APT7 Up Late. Also featured are film screenings at the Australian Cinematheque, a premiere music performance and QAGOMA Members events. APT7 Up Late is free and no bookings are required.
Please note, the APT7 exhibition will be open for viewing until 9.15pm on the night.
Canyons & Daniel Boyd present : 100 Million Nights

Acclaimed musical duo Canyons perform an original musical score featuring a major new three‑panel video installation work by APT7 artist Daniel Boyd, set in the heart of the APT7 exhibition. Don’t miss the premiere of ‘100 million nights’ at GOMA during APT7 Up Late.

Directors Julien Gaurichon, Marie-Claire Quiquemelle offer a fascinating documentary focusing on the animation of the Shanghai Art Studio, from its pinnacle in the 1950s through the arrest of its two key animators by the Red Guards to its resurgence in the 1980s. Read more

QAGOMA Members are invited to attend an exclusive Members-only dining event in the GOMA Restaurant during APT7 Up Late. The menu, developed by QAGOMA’s Executive Chef, Josh Lopez, includes a two-course main and dessert set-menu, with an amuse to start and petit fours to finish. Also includes a glass of wine on arrival.
- Amuse: Hervey Bay Scallop, sand, samphire
- Main: Roasted lamb, hinterland greens, beetroot, juniper
- Dessert: Tangelo delicious, chocolate ganache, citrus powder

QAGOMA Members are invited to start their night at APT7 Up Late at this casual Members event taking in the spectacular views of the Brisbane river. Come with friends, or use it as a chance to meet other Members, and enjoy specially prepared grazing platters and a drink on arrival. Menu includes:
- Mixed cold platters of salmon sushi, avocado sushi, Vietnamese duck rolls, edamame beans, wasabi peas and miso-glazed eggplant with wakame.
