Rex Addison

Rex Addison is a leading figure in Queensland architecture, having developed a distinctive and finely articulated design language over nearly 40 years of working in Queensland and Papua New Guinea. His architecture, and particularly his chosen methods of construction, is infused with an understanding of these different climes and locales, and bears witness to the diverse histories — personal, social and cultural — that occupy each place. Addison continues to engage with and influence young architects through his position as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.
