Making it Modern: The Watercolours of Kenneth Macqueen
An exhibition of Kenneth Macqueen’s (1897–1960) watercolours, ‘Making it Modern’ highlights his importance as a key Australian modernist and reveals him as a complex and highly individual artist. After the successful showing of the major retrospective exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery, works by Macqueen from the Queensland Art Gallery Collection will tour to Mackay and Toowoomba.
