Olafur Eliasson’s The cubic structural evolution project
7 September 2007 – 30 May 2009
The cubic structural evolution project 2004 is an interactive art work from the Gallery’s Collection by major international artist Olafur Eliasson. Comprising more than 300 kilograms of white Lego blocks, the work invites viewers to use the Lego to create a cityscape. Designed for children but with appeal for all ages, the work becomes an ever-evolving metropolis limited only by the imagination of participants.
Eliasson’s work will tour to regional Queensland centres from September 2007 to May 2009.
