The Collections, exhibitions and spaces of the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art offer a wealth of teaching and learning experiences for students of all ages designed to encourage critical thinking and creative expression, in both the Gallery and classroom context. Incorporating new technologies and with a strong curriculum focus, these interpretive methods enable teachers to provide meaningful and engaging self-guided experiences.
For those audience members living in regional and remote Queensland, who are unable to access the Gallery on a regular basis the section provides a range of Regional Services. A dynamic program of travelling exhibitions and programs is offered to regional Queensland communities via the Gallery's touring program.
