About

Pauline (Mélanie Thierry) is the owner of a small organic farm that she runs with her long-term partner, Alex (Pierre Deladonchamps). When Alex decides to install a wind turbine on the farm, the arrival of a young, worldly engineer, Samuel (Nuno Lopes), causes Pauline to question her love for Alex and whether the life she has chosen for herself is the right one.

Working with fellow script writers Antoine Jaccoud, Bettina Oberli and Thomas Ritter, Sciamma’s trademark sensibility can be felt throughout the film in the strong emotional silences between characters.
