This Australian Premiere of Amala – The Life and Struggles of the Dalai Lama’s Sister explores the selfless work undertaken by a courageous woman. Jetsun Pema focussed her life on the children of Tibet and the importance of education for creating a brighter future for them. This documentary is a masterclass in solidarity, a life of service and the deep need for expression of identity.
